RED ALERT
mixed emotions... i missed it but now that it's back i don't feel like welcoming it... i didn't have it for about 6 months (effect of the injectable contraceptive)... and now it's the fourth day of my PERIOD! the first three days felt like torture... backpain, headache and lower abdominal pain... the bleeding was also shocking because I don't remember ever releasing this much blood during my periods before! anyway, i guess i'm gonna have to get used to this again because i don't have plans getting another shot soon...

My Long Weekend
"Suddenly Monday appears again.. where was the weekend.. I lost it again.."
* (Sigh!) I can totally relate to that MELANIE C. song! Well, here I am: back to work again after my long weekend.. I went to Lipa last Friday even if I knew there was another storm coming just so I would have a 'different' weekend (I am sick and tired of ordinary weekends!). And so, I'd like to think that I had a productive weekend. But I could't really tell. Here's what happened in the past couple of days (You be the judge!):
* FRIDAY: I arrived at the Del Rio residence in Lipa at around lunchtime. I rested for a little while then I had lunch. Then I waited for Mama Bhel so she could accompany me to the Dental Clinic. While waiting, the dentist's assistant knocked at the gate to inform us that there were technical problems so the dentist could not accomodate me that day. My appointment was moved the following day instead. And so, I just spent the rest of the day reading the newspaper and solving Sudoku and Crossword puzzles while waiting for TJ and Artos to arrive (from Batangas City). They arrived at almost dinner time. After dinner, we watched TV a little then went to bed early. But we didn't sleep right away. We tried to fix the wallpaper (which Quiel tore off) with glue. It was like a puzzle! haha!
* SATURDAY: Got up early for my dental appointment. Didn't bother to take a bath (water's freezing! damn!) and went to the dentist after breakfast. Mama Bhel and I waited for about 15 minutes and found out that the technical problem still was not fixed so we went home frustrated. The dentist said that she would just give us a phone call whenever she's ready and she did after about more than an hour. At last! My dental problem was solved that day! I was then looking forward to going back to Las Pinas that afternoon because I was thinking that Ate Tess was taking her off. However, TJ had to do some errands for Daddy Lolo so I had to inform Mama to let Ate tess stay for another day. While TJ and Daddy Lolo worked, I decided to join them outside...not to help, but to play with Calleigh and Shandy. I spent time taking pictures and videos of these two hairy dogs. Then I got tired of that after about an hour and spent time taking videos and pictures of the surroundings especially the trees that swayed wildly due to the strong wind.. But then, I got tired of that too.. so I went back inside and took a nap. It was already dark when TJ woke me up. He informed me that they did not finish what they were doing so I assumed that we couldn't leave early the next day. Then I realized I still haven't had a bath but I was still feeling lazy to have one even if I smelled like Calleigh and Shandy. I forced TJ to heat a pail of water just so I could have a nice bath. As I was about to enter the bathroom Mama asked me to bathe Quiel as well so we took a bath at the same time. After bathing it was again time for dinner! And I ate a lot because of Mommy Lola's bulanglang and humba! after dinner, we all gathered in front of the TV to watch 'Maalaala Mo Kaya'. Then we went to bed. Again not to sleep right away, but to play games on our cellphones and portable multimedia player.
* SUNDAY: Got up early again. Mama asked if I wanted to go to church with them to donate their family's old clothes to the flood victims. Of course, I said 'YES' because it was a chance to do something good. So we all took a bath early after breakfast then we all went to church but we found out that the office there doesn't open on Sundays so we headed to Tito Whopie's house to borrow some tools (which TJ and Daddy Lolo would be using later that day). We gave them a box of Swakto donuts (which we bought before heading to church). After kuya Jojo showed us his pigeons and African lovebirds, we headed to SM Lipa to buy gifts (we would be attending a birthday party of the neighbor's children in the afternoon) and some groceries for Mommy Lola. After the mall, we headed to La Salle Lipa to donate the clothes (Mamalet informed us that they accept relief goods there). We headed back to the house for lunch. Then TJ and Daddy Lolo finally finished working on the TV antenna. After resting, Mama Bhel, Quiel, TJ and I attended the birthday party. The food wasn't great and the neighbors were not good hosts. Anyway, we left right away after eating (EAT AND RUN! Hahaha!) 'cos we all had to go (me and TJ to Las Pinas while Mama Bhel, Quiel and Artos to Batangas City). Daddy Lolo drove us out of the subdivision then we took a tryke to the bus terminal then we parted ways there. TJ and I withdrawed cash first before boarding an airconditioned bus.
* SUNDAY NIGHT in LAS PINAS: It was already about past seven when we arrived. I found the package Reese sent me (the bracelet and earrings I ordered) but we were not satisfied with the quality of the bracelet. After about half an hour Mama and Ashlee also arrived from Katkat's birthday party. They brought a lot of goodies and giveaways from the party. Ashlee looked so happy. TJ and I were also happy to see her. We've missed her so much! Then Mama showed us her new Canon digital camera before having dinner. After dinner, we all prepared for bed.
WHEW! There you go! My 'literally' LLOOOONNGG weekend! hehehehe

CHOOSEOK
* This week did not start so well. On Monday (Sept.28), our building had no electricity (power failure due to ONDOY) so we had to work with mosquitos in the dark! I really hated Mr. Kim for letting us work uncomfortably. He should have just sent us all home. It was like HOLLOWEEN in September! Candles were our only source of light. I was forced to dehydrate myself just so I wouldn't feel like going to the bathroom because it was darker and creepier in there!
* Anyway, it's a good thing that there's no work tomorrow! But that's not for everybody... just for Koreans and for companies like ours... Korea is celebrating CHOOSEOK (or Thanksgiving Day). So how am I going to spend my long weekend? Well, I plan to go to Lipa City for a dental appointment (and at the same time to drag TJ back to Manila! hehe)...
* So I guess the week's going to end well afterall... GUESS NOT! 'Coz another typhoon is on its way...
* Anyway, it's a good thing that there's no work tomorrow! But that's not for everybody... just for Koreans and for companies like ours... Korea is celebrating CHOOSEOK (or Thanksgiving Day). I AM... or so I THINK...
I AM confident, self assured, and capable. I AM not easily intimidated. I master any and all skills easily. I don't have to work hard for what I want. I make MY life out to be exactly how I want it. And I'LL knock down anyone who gets in MY way! I AM usually the best at everything ... I strive for perfection. I AM confident, authoritative, and aggressive. I have the classic "Type A" personality. I AM friendly, charming, and warm. I get along with almost everyone. I work hard not to rock the boat. MY easy going attitude brings people together. At times, I can be a little flaky and irresponsible. But for the important things, I pull it together. I AM a seeker of knowledge, and I have learned many things in MY life. I AM also a keeper of knowledge - meaning I don't spill secrets or spread gossip. People sometimes think I AM snobby or aloof, but I AM just too deep in thought to pay attention to them.
I AM wild, crazy, and a huge rebel. I AM always up to something. I have a ton of energy, and most people can't handle ME. I AM very intense. I definitely AM a handful, and I AM likely to get in trouble. But MY kind of trouble is a lot of fun. I tend to be pretty tightly wound. It's easy to get ME excited... which can be a good or bad thing. I have a lot of enthusiasm, but it fades rather quickly. I don't stick with any one thing for very long. I have the drive to accomplish a lot in a short amount of time. MY biggest problem is making sure I finish the projects I start.

DOWNTIME!!!
We experienced the first DOWNTIME for 2009 yesterday... It started at 5PM and by the time we were all getting ready to go home at 10PM, suddenly the internet was up!!! Grr! Watta bummer!!! and we thought we could all go home early last night... sigh... anyway, still we're happy and thankful for the 5 hour downtime... Hope it happens again... and again... and again... HEHE!

hAppY nEw YeAr!!!
iT's the 2nd working day of the year... and SO FAR, SO GOOD...
i lost my 2:00 class today and you could just imagine my surprise and happiness! it's like a dream come true!!! I have nothing against that student, in fact, he was one of my best... but DAMN! it's his class schedule that had been killin' me for a long time!
Anyway, yesterday was the first working day of the year and I'm proud to say that I wasn't late! HAHAHA! so I guess that means I won't be late for the entire year huh?! YEY ME! Also, yesterday, we received the 2nd half of our 13th month pay so feeling rich kami lahat!!!
Oh and by the way, the day before yesterday, we bought a 25-inch flat screen Sony television! I'm really happy 'bout that because I think appliances are good investments...
And finally... we bought new earphones for my Portable Multimedia Player! and I'm really glad TJ finally bought new slippers! My God! His old pair was bothering me a lot! He kept complaining 'bout them but would refuse to buy another cheap pair so I finally convinced him to buy CROCS flip flops! and take note, 1,800.00Php per pair! WOAH! but it's worth it. Knowing TJ's feet, he really must have a 'heavy duty' pair of slippers... I think that it would last for a very long time... HEHE!
so there... EVERYBODY HAPPY!
